See the world through different eyes. Simulate color blindness in real-time with your camera.
How It Works
Launch ColorLens and point your camera at the world around you.
Choose from Protanopia, Deuteranopia, Tritanopia, or Achromatopsia.
Watch the live feed transform in real-time to show how colors appear with CVD.
Simulation Types
Each type affects how the eyes perceive different wavelengths of light. ColorLens simulates all four.
Red-blind. People with protanopia cannot perceive red light at all — reds appear dark, and red and green are difficult to distinguish.
Green-blind. The most common form of color blindness. Greens, yellows, oranges, and reds can appear similar and confusing.
Blue-blind. A rare condition where blue and yellow colors are hard to distinguish. Blues appear greenish and yellows appear pink.
Complete color blindness. All color is lost — the world is seen entirely in shades of grey, affecting only 1 in 30,000 people.
